Cardi B appeared on My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman to discuss her political engagement.

In a clip from the new episode, Cardi talks about using her platform for politics but not her music.

“I don’t really put a lot of political things in my music, but I used the fuck out of my platform,” said Cardi.

"Even as a dancer, I used my platform. Because you may believe no one's watching, but they are.

Cardi B's songs don't typically get political, but she's always willing to engage with lawmakers.

She's interviewed Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden. She's also criticised Candace Owens.

Cardi said, "I'm a Bronx hood chick." "Many people follow me because they like how I look and my lifestyle.

I feel obligated to tell people, "Hey, while you're looking out my dress and music, check out what's going on over here."

The new six-episode season of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction has officially premiered on Netflix.

Billie Eilish, Ryan Reynolds, Kevin Durant, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Will Smith were also interviewed before his Oscar smack.
