Meera (born 29 January 1982) is an Indian picture and TV actress, who has mainly,seems in pictures and television soap’s in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu language.
She got the Tamil Nadu State Film Award Special Prize in 2005 and the Kerala State TV Award for Best Performer in 2007. Presently Meera is playing a main principal role in the popular Malayalam soap play Kudumbavi lakku showing on Asianet.

Meera has one earlier sister Ashwini, who shot to celebrity as a child artist for Jaanam Samjha Karo a Salman Khan film. After proceeding with a Bachelor degree in Arts, Psychology and English literature, Meera became a popular model, performing in many ad films, shooting into celebrity. Meera wedded Vishal Agarwal, son of camera operator Ashok Kumar in 2005. They separated in July 2010. In 2012, Meera married Malayalam actor John Kokken, with whom she has a son Ariha John and got divorced in 2016.

Meera’s entry into the picture industry occurred through the 2003 Hindi ironic film Rules: Pyaar Ka Super hit Formula, alongside Milind Soman.
Afterward about 500 failed screen tests, the Setmax ad shot by Prahlad Kakkar earned the best ad promotion of the year, and was observed by the director Parvati Balagopalan’s mother and got her a monitor test for Rules: Pyaar Ka Super hit Formula, for which she was designated for best future actress by Screen Awards and Sansui – PNC Awards.
Meera’s Telugu film Golmaal, though, free first. The same year Meera made her picture entrance in the Tamil movie industry as well, looking in Samuthirakani’s directorial introduction Unnai Saranadainthen, in which she public screen space with Venkat Prabhu and S. P. B. Charan.
Her representation of Bobby, an immovable village girl, in the film, was valued by critics and earned her the Tamil Nadu State Film Superior Award for Best Actress.
