Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger’s family is getting bigger.
The happy news that the couple has welcomed their second daughter was shared on Sunday.
‘We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt,’ Schwarzenegger wrote on her Instagram account on Sunday, along with an image of a birth announcement revealing the baby’s name and the birth date of May 21. The image also included a caption that read, ‘We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter.’
“We are blown away by how blessed and thankful we are. Regards, Katherine and Chris”
On his Instagram account, Pratt made the same birth announcement, and he wrote in the caption, “Mama and baby are doing great. We are blown away by how privileged and thankful we feel.
Maria Shriver, who is an anchor for NBC News specials, is Schwarzenegger’s mother, and she is gushing with joy.
“We are very fortunate to have you, bravo, and congrats, lucky Eloise!” She added a comment on Pratt’s blog article.
According to People, the news that Pratt and Schwarzenegger were expecting their second child was made public in the month of December last year. They already have a daughter named Lyla who is 1 year old, and the star of “Jurassic World” also has a son named Jack who is 9 years old with his ex-wife Anna Faris.
Since Pratt and Schwarzenegger tied the knot in 2019, there have not been many public sightings of the couple’s children or other family members. In January, Schwarzenegger shared images on Instagram of his daughter Lyla out on a stroll, but the photos did not show her face. The couple has a habit of posting photographs in which she hides her face. According to Schwarzenegger, this is a result of her having spent her entire childhood in the public eye.
She stated this to TODAY in March 2021 and said, “I believe that one of the greatest things that my parents have ever given me and my siblings is the gift of privacy and having a truly normal upbringing, or having an upbringing that is as normal as it is possible.”
